Light the Heights –city-wide luminaries New Year’s Eve Dear Neighbor, As 2025 comes to a close, we have much to celebrate as a community and at the Windsor Heights Foundation. This past year, The city wide Ice Cream Social had 19 locations throughout the neighborhood, the popular Nights in the Heights Music series showcased our great remodeled Colby Park ! The Foundation also supported one of the Movies in the Park events and helped provide funds for Windsor Wonderland at Windsor Heights Community Center.
Our the community continues to prosper and grow, thanks to the residents. We hope you will join us once again this New Year’s Eve in “Lighting the Heights”. To celebrate the 2026 New Year and new opportunities for our community, consider making gift to the Windsor Heights Foundation in a special amount – $26 or even $226! Your gift also has the power to brighten ALL OF WINDSOR HEIGHTS! If you donate a minimum of $26 before December 22nd, you will receive a luminary kit for you to help LIGHT THE HEIGHTS on New Year’s Eve, along with all of our neighbors! A gift of $26 will provide you with a kit of ten lights. A $226 donation will allow you to provide luminaries for you and up to nine of your neighbors. You can pick up your luminary kits at the Jakes Fireworks Store at the corner of 73rd and Hickman on December 29, 2025 from 4:00-6:00 pm.
