What We Have Funded

Harmony Park

The Windsor Heights Foundation in 2019, with the help of our generous donors dedicated the Al and Flo Hunter Harmony Park in Windsor Heights for all ages to enjoy playing musical instruments.

Colby Park Playground

We contributed $12,500 toward the upgrade of the playground at Colby Park, located at 6900 School Street. Colby Park has become a signature for the City of Windsor Heights and hosts many community events.

Play-on-it Firetruck

The Foundation helped to fund a play-on-it firetruck on the playground, which is dedicated in memory of Al Hunter, long time chief of the Windsor Heights Fire Department.

The Windsor Heights Foundation helps donors connect with our great city and are dedicated to create meaningful legacies by giving back.

The Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors. The Board is made up of Windsor Heights residents who have a variety of professional and personal backgrounds with the goal of furthering the Windsor Heights Foundation. Board members are: Mark Arends, President; Kory Hirth, Treasurer; Nicole Crain;  Leslie Garman; David Swartz.  Friends of the Foundation: Brook Wade, Aaron Cooper, Trisha Davis
